This was a great, quick stop on our way from Alamogordo to Carlsbad. The informational signs were well done and recently updated. The trestle bridge had been restored in 2010 and the bridge and views of the valley were lovely.

A good walk in the woods with a few stopping points to see the valley. Definitely must visit. There's a quick easy loop if you're limited in hiking abilities. If you're able to do more, there's many branches to wander of to and explore.
