Very good food. Our baked potato was so big we could have shared it. The brisket was delicious and so tender. For dessert we had a sweet and tasty cherry cobbler. We will definitely go there again!
By far, BEST BBQ! I'm a regular here :) I would recommend the Dyno Rib, Loaded Baked Potato, Chile the Kid Sandwich! Everything taste good, you can't go wrong but those have to be my top.
Oooooohhhhh. This is BBQ worth driving a long ways to get, but come early as they sell out every day! (Around five on weekdays, by about 12:50 on weekends.) You will stand in line, and you will be happy. Very casual, old building that is not handicapped friendly, despite ramp. Picnic table style seating. Food so good you'll wish you'd bought some to carry home. Texas style, very smokey meat with hardwood flavors, ubiquitous beans and salads. Only the cobbler isn't great. The meats will make you drool. Very, very high quality meat.
The food is absolutely insane !!! I have travelled a lot and I can, with no shred of doubt, say that this is the best bbq I have ever had. 5 stars are not enough ! Even with the line swirling around twice the staff remained calm, and very friendly. Wish I discovered this place sooner ! If you are looking for a place to eat ( within a few 100 miles!) stop, and start driving. I Promise it will be worth it.
Mad Jacks has the best brisket hands down! Everything else is great too. Bonus...they have the friendliest staff. But be prepared for a line out the door...but don't be discouraged because it is so worth the wait! We will be back!
