Very nice! Spent honeymoon here. Nice dinner and drinks in the lounge. A walk in the cool mountain air. The room has a 1930 atmosphere with modern amenities.

We ordered drinks at the bar and brought them up to the tower to watch sunset. It was breathtaking! I highly recommend it. Ask for the key at the front desk.

Stayed a night to attend a friends wedding this summer. I loved the rooms! Luckily ours was a good size compared to others we knew who stayed as well. Getting to the rooms can be somewhat "breath taking" because you have to take the old stairs if your room is on the 2nd floor. I was really comfortable in the bed and really did not want to leave. Only complaint was the quality of the "breakfast buffet" for the price it was defiantly not worth what they served. Given how nice the lodge and rooms are I expected more from the food.

What a quaint scenic place! Small rooms filled with antiques. Don't miss seeing the sunset from the hotel tower room. It is stepping back into centuries ago (1800s) with modern things like electricity and plumbing. NO elevator and some steps. Still, a do not miss experience. Fabulous for a romantic get away with someone special. The restaurant there is almost as good as the hotel. The hotel is fabulous.

Had a great Sunday brunch at Rebecca's at The Lodge. Delicious food and historic atmosphere. Based on reviews we read elsewhere we asked at the reception desk for the key to the tower. Nice views and interesting history. Judy Garland and Clark Gable scratched their names on the wall during a visit.
